The good thing is the Heavyweight division is heating back up again. Who could ever forget those Bowe/Holyfield wars?

Wilder is doing the right think by talking about AJ.. It's helping build his profile and the mega unification fight but it seems like he's overlooking Ortiz.. Even though he's fighting Ortiz this weekend it feels like leading up to this fight, the fight they've promoted is AJ vs Wilder. Wilder vs Ortiz is a big fight and it deserved to be promoted properly.

Whomever wins that fight. The fight fans are going to be the true winners in all of this. I mean you have two gladiators going at it at the top of their peaks; What more can a boxing fan ask for? I am willing to pay up to $200 bucks for that fight to be broadcast on pay per view because it doesn't get any better than this.

It's hard to know if he's overlooking Ortiz or not. He talked about Ortiz & AJ a lot heading into the Stiverne rematch, but clearly wasn't overlooking Stiverne.

It's a valid concern. For the sake of boxing, I hope Deontay, in private, is focused on Ortiz. I guess we'll find out Saturday.

Can Deontay open his mouth without making a complete tit of himself?

Win lose or draw, i'm gonna knock him out. What????

How can you knock him out if the fight's a draw or a loss? Idiot.

Anybody following this clown is of the same ilk. Completely redundant.

The biggest fight for Americans. I’m not sure if it is biggest fight overall. I’m not sure how much bigger than Joshua Parker it is at the moment, wilder needs to increase his profile first.

But Joshua has potential domestic fights which could well prove more lucrative at the moment, with fury being the obvious one. If Haye beats bellew that could well become a possibility also which would be huge in the uk.

Okay, fair enough. You're entitled to your opinion obviously. So I'll restate. Hearn, Haymon, Finkel, Sky and Showtime believe it's the biggest fight in world boxing.

Wilder is a much bigger star than Parker. Wilder is from a much bigger country than Parker. Wilder brings the possibility of US PPV, which even if it was only a modest success, brings a lot of revenue to the table. Again, you're entitled to your opinion, but the professionals disagree with you. Hearn, Haymon, Finkel, Sky and Showtime all believe it's much bigger than Parker. Which is why you do Parker first. Joshua vs. Wilder can get much bigger if given more time. You don't rush the ultimate showdown.
