  • Comments Thread For: Manny Pacquiao To Return Without Freddie Roach?

The event is roughly six weeks or so away, and there is still no official word on whether or not eight division world champion Manny Pacquiao will return to the ring on April 14th at the Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas. Pacquiao was being positioned to fight Mike Alvarado as apart of a doubleheader that would feature Terence Crawford challenging Jeff Horn for the WBO welterweight title.

Manny won the horn fight 8-4 and should of got the tko in the 9th foh with that no adjustment crap. Manny could beat Alvarado without a trainer in his sleep.

"After Pacquiao was defeated last year, his manager Michael Koncz and promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank were both highly critical of Roach's performance."

This is like when Don King talked Mike Tyson into getting rid of Rooney.

Foh with that; Manny Pacquiao is fighting solely for that check now, with the $20m guarantee down to maybe $10m for the Horn fight, with that number being even lower now.

'Buboy' loves Pacquiao enough that he's going to do his best to get/keep his friend motivated to prepare for the fight, Pacquiao is loyal enough to 'Buboy' to not entirely dog his effort in the camp, and 'Buboy' has no qualms about protecting his friends if things somehow go left.

Zero confidence in 'Buboy' on tactics, but that's not why he's around in the first place.
