Wilder will a huge statement if he gets through Ortiz. He’s his first credible opponent.

Wilder tried to have a fight before with him and he actually went after him after he won.

This should be interesting regardless what haters for either side are saying.

Too bad Wilder didn't face Pove or Ortiz due to the PED because if he had won both fights I would wonder what AJ would be saying next.

Ortiz is a very credible opponent on paper but is he the same fighter when abiding by VADA rules and testing.

Wilder should finish this one pretty spectacularly, although both guys getting dropped at some point isn't out of the realm of possibility. I just think that Wilder is going to paw with the jab for the majority of the first round and then......****! Straight right hand down the middle.

I guess you never heard of Bryan Jennings who is arguably better than anyone wilder has faced.

Jennings went the distance with klitchko yet Ortiz destroyed him in 7

So did wach, ibragimov, and Peters. What's the point here??? He's as good as those guys??? It's not like Jennings is a gold medalist like povetkin, or beat him like fury. So what makes Jennings so good??? What's his defining win?? Because losing in style doesn't make you better than a undefeated champion. So who exactly has he beat that makes him better than wilder???

I really fancy Ortiz to do this and will be placing some money down on the weekend.

It's just a shame that Ortiz is floating at around 2/1 on UK betting markets. Given the hype and publicity put forward by Sky (in building AJ vs DW) onto Wilder, I would've thought Ortiz would be a bit wider and Deontay more of a favourite.

I'll wait till the weigh in when Deontay comes in looking ripped and the casuals place their money down, odds should drift.

I think Ortiz 7-12 or points but let's just hope for a good tear up.
