I've never seen a guy fight weaker competition, beat an aged bum in 1 round and then prance around like he's the best on the planet haha. Ortiz is going to beat this dude and bring him back down to earth.

Wilders weapon is his right hand.
If Ortiz is able to avoid it in the first 3 rounds, then Wilder will find himself at the wrong place.

I'm interested in seeing how Ortiz chin holds up never seen him seriously hurt. If he can take those right hands and or nullify them then things will be very interesting.

Side note if this fight goes 12 & it's close expectba controversial win for Wilder. This is no excuse for Ortiz it's just common sense and if you've been watching boxing long enough you know that nothing's getting in the way of that super fight with Joshua. Not that they can't still fight if Wilder were to lose but it would definitely take a little steam off that buzz and likely wouldnt happen til a couple more years from now.

Joshua vs Wilder = more $ than Joshua vs Ortiz & Wilder vs Ortiz put together

Ortiz is right. But unlike wilder he isn't required to have a better resume or even the same resume as he's a contender not a belt holder like him. You would think a guy who's held a belt for 3 years and made 6 title defenses would have a better resume but he doesn't, sad story.

It would be no different than anything getting in the way of Canelo-Golovkin...

That's what happens when three fights are canceled due to drug test failures.

Exactly. GGG Jacobs was a risky fight and even though I thought g won it literally was of the slimmest of margins. Had GGG clearly lost or got ko'd. We wouldn't have gotten the Canelo fight let alone 2.
Pac Mayweather is another example. That Marquez KO almost completely screwed things but after that hiccup both Manny & Floyd were matched very carefully to regain that hype. Too much money was on the table

Then how do you explain nearly twice as many cans as his promoter originally said he'd have to fight before dealing with some serious competition? Your argument falls flat. Wilder is 90% hot air, talks WAY the he!! too much.
