Bro, i doubt the video has been speeded up.
He is punching a stationary object at mid range. No shoulder movement or weight transfer, plus he is pretty quick anyway.
It's the last part of straight punches when you extend the shoulder and pivot the hips that slows the entire punch down to what you see in the ring.
When they get that close to each other, they won't be throwing straight quick punches like that.Comment

Maybe not all of it, but parts of it have certainly been speeded up. Look at the unnatural movement of the first bag he's working, and the fast jerky motions of the guy holding the pads.Bro, i doubt the video has been speeded up.

what HW do you know that moves his head a lot while he works on the heavy bag or while he hits pads?
i mean really, what HW do you know that moves his head a lot at all in 2018? these aren't 70's HW who run every morning and are 200-210 lbs, or 50's HW who weigh 195. parker's probably what, 235-240 lbs in the best shape of his life? his best defense, like most of these other giant HW, is a step back. takes less energy and does the same job.
one of the reasons you see shorter fighters weaving is that they have to. they can't fight tall because they're not. another reason is that it works for them. you can't be dipping and sliding around all night if you're 6'4" tall and 240 lbs when you're in shape. lungs and hearts don't get much bigger, it just doesn't work like that.
parker's not a great fighter and is going to pick a spot to rest and get stopped against joshua, but i don't think this video is an indictment of why. nor do i thint that he should be dancing around the ring and weaving with his upper body. he's too big for that. he's a big guy, too, and needs to fight that way.
his best bet is to try and surprise joshua with his handspeed, win some rounds, and get his confidence so he can work his way into the fight. he's got less reach than joshua who is a true juggernat, but parker's not going to be joe frazier just because of that, and i don't think he needs to to have his best chance to win. joshua's there to be hit, can be hurt, and looks like every other HW ever in that he can be stopped if you put leather on him. parker's not going to fight like a smaller guy. he's going to take his shot and hope he lands power.
i expect a better fight than most joshua drubbings, but nothing to write home about. joshua in six.Comment

You guys really impressed with guys hitting punching bag and hitting mitts.
guess parker doesn't need footwork, defense and endurance to beat joshua lol

Pretty much every Heavyweight looks great on the Bags and Pad.
Malik Scott looks fantastic when you watch him training.
None of this relates to actual fighting in a ring against a LIVE Opponent.
Parker has looked sluggish as hell in his last 4 fights and he'll probably look the same against Joshua.
Triple DDD would absolutely DEMOLISH Parker in 2 rounds.Comment

lol calm down mate, it took him 3 rounds to get rid of that caretaker on Saturday night.
Parker has no defense at all, so i can't see him withstanding Joshua's heavy artillery. You need decent footwork to beat AJ and Parker doesn't have it. I think he gets stopped late.Comment
