Maybe for a vacant title(FIB vacant now) but Rungvisai would not beat or be favored against a champion like Luis Nery.

Yes, he is there to be hit, he tanked clean punches from Chocolatito and Estrada like nothing, but he will not last with the same defense against 118/122 champs

Look at Broner's career..can you honestly say he isn't a multi division champ even if he got all of his belts off possibly the worst of the worst belt holders. If Sor learned to set his punches up behind a jab and he learned to work with his low handspeed and mix it up rather than throwing homeruns 90% of the time this dude would be a living nightmare for most fighters.
        Turned up,
Good post! He would be a nightmare like a night of the living dead! Oh-god, i'm showing my age.... But you couldn't have put it any better 'set his punches up behind a jab'. Mayorga comes to my mind. If someone had taught him how to throw a straight right hand down the pipe. he would've accomplished much more as a fighter.

Honestly don't know much about Nery beyond his (I might be wrong here) press coverage for failing a test post winning his belt. So I can't really speak on that matchup itself. What I do know is that we have a monster puncher who doesn't have the basics down quite yet but is showing promising real time thinking. Pair him with a trainer that shows him how to cut off the ring better, use his jab and set up his punches and i'll happily bet on Rungvisai win or lose. The guy is exciting and fearless that's something you have to worry about behind that kind of power he packs. Not taking anythign away from anyone just putting the focus on what he's got and what he could accomplish if you add to those skills.

Hah i'm pretty sure our ages are not that far apart from that reference. The guy has a chin and power, you build on that and maybe help him not punch at one single speed and he could do great things. Unfortunately he's also had his share of wars and that shhh ages you like a motherf.

When Sugar Srisaket moves up this glass chinned bum is the first guy I want to see him fight. So that he can pick up a quick easy belt before taking on some real fights...

Nery is a plodding bum that would walk into Every Srisaket punch and not see a single one coming....

Nery can take all the roids he wants.
Nery can drink all the p*ss he wants.
Nothing will save him from getting knocked out....

Lets see if nery can beat the japanese clean first...
              HAHAHA!!!!
