Sor Rungvisai’s boxing ability is severely underrated

For such a limited fighter who relies on his strength, power, and will to win he isn’t your typical plodding come forward brawler. He has also shown intelligence and ability to control distance and even adapt. I was really surprised how he was controlling a master boxer in the middle rounds by taking his time and calculating his distance, not just constantly bullrushing.

He sort of reminds me of Marcos Maidana where his caveman brawling style isn’t pretty but his boxing ability is overlooked. I only wish he had someone who can further improve his style by adding a jab and a right hand to his arsenal. He’d be even more dangerous.

He is a Caveman, and yes he is a limited Fighter, I am guessing that if he goes up one or two divisions he gets exposed

He is VERY overrated along with the whole division. I saw a guy with two left feet using the same punch over and over again. Terrible footwork as well. I actually had him losing the fight but oh well.

Give that man a sharp double jab, he'll turn into an even bigger threat.

He used his jab a lot as more of a way to gauge range. But if he just shoved stiffed jabs with his power, it would allow him more time/space to setup his left.

I was thinking the same thing that he reminded me of Maidana.

Maidana is more refined. SSR is benefiting from being a weight bully, he looked like he belonged two weight classes against both Gonzalez and Estrada. Even with that, Gonzalez beat him in the first one and Estrada made him look foolish at spots and turned him into Pumpkinhead.

Once he fights somebody his own size he's gonna get exposed for the B class weight bully that he is. Inoue would have him for breakfast.

Sor is much better than Maidana.

And Maidana was a weight bully.too.

He weighted 164 pounds vs Floyd.

Always was the bigger man and never fought with big fighters with great power.

Only with feather handed fighters like Floyd. Broner. Khan. Josesito.

he was getting tagged at will by estrada nothing to brag about his boxing abillity...in my personal opinion i had him losing the fight or atleast a draw...117-111 is too wide of a margin
