Yeah but actually Rigo never moved up from 122, never, and Loma was a 126 fighter and not big one 2,3 years ago.

Rigo had a disadvantage but how he got schooled Loma was better at this point, period.

If you take Gamboa vs Crawford (the size difference was bigger IMO) , you can see Gamboa was outgunned, outsized but not outskilled. Gamboa managed to win some rounds, hurt Bud, Rigo didn't win a minute of the fight.

Right Rigondeaux was campaigning and Champion at 122 lbs, Lomachenko was campaigning and Champion at 130 lbs. To which Rigondeaux moved up two weight classes to fight him.

Big difference to Rungvisai, Choclatito and Estrada who were all campaigning at the same weight class when they fought each other.

Crawford-Gamboa isn't the same either because Gamboa had fights at 130 and 135 prior to the Crawford fight albeit yes Gamboa is small for a Lightweight and Crawford is enormous for a Lightweight but still, Gamboa didn't jump two weights like Rigondeaux did.

It is a good win don't get me wrong but we can't just ignore and brush over the fact that Rigondeaux moved up two weight classes. It's an important piece of the story.

even if we match the number of the fights/wins with each other and judge by that, not considering sor having much much more fights, he still has the better resume than loma...

having said that, loma did not really have anyone "yet" to fight comparable to the calibers of gonzo and el gallo (we all know the story with the rigo fight , not loma's fault tho)

as of the moment, sor wins this hands down
