    Is Boxing dead?

There doesn't seem to be any public interest in boxing now, nobody talking about any big fights coming up etc.

Have all the blatant robberies of late (Ward/Kovalev x2 & GGG/Canelo) finally killed the sport?... I certainly don't feel the same interest in it tbh, can't be ****ed to keep shelling out for pre-determined fights.

Haha Boxing never dies. 2017 was an amazing year for boxing I felt. I am a young fan myself. It's popular in certain cultures but only the largest stars cross over into the mainstream, but is it dying? No a great new era is starting with interesting matches percolating in almost every division.

A front row ticket to Canelo vs GGG sells for $5000.00. AJ sells out huge buildings every time he fights. Mayweather made 200 million dollars fighting Conor. I don't think boxing is dead. HBO or Showtime has a boxing card on every weekend. Not bad for a dead sport.

can't trust football fans tbh. I was thinking, there's a thing called ''diving'' in football. It's when football players exaggerate contact to hopefully get a foul. I have to admit, it's a perfected science, and even fans wanting their team to win won't mind a player milking an opportunity to act a foul if it's to their advantage. What's worse, is that with today's technology, you get to see these acting dives in slow motion which ironically makes slow motion Pac videos at least worth watching, and Pac doesn't mind getting hit. That's what's ironic. Men kicking a ball to act for fouls makes the NFL or NBA real mens sports. I know this because Jimmy Conway told me so, and he owes me money!

All I know is, in that last round between SSR and Estrada last night I was standing about 3 feet in front of the TV yelling and jumping up and down like a kid with every flurry that both guys threw. So it's good to know boxing went out with one last hurrah, RIP boxing, it was nice knowing ya!

Remember when the welterweight division was supposed to heat up after Floyd and Pac retired. The best were supposedly going to start fighting the best because they weren't chasing the big money fights anymore. Still the same old ****
