Why did you pick Toney over Roy and Bernard in the poll,? Thnks

Toney to me has the best resume with wins over: Nunn, McCallum, Barkley, Jirov, Williams, Ruiz, Holyfield and a draw with Rahman. Ok he deserved to lose the Rahman fight, but neither Roy or Bernard would dare step into the ring with a HW that big. Plus he beats both if they were to fight today.

ACTUALLY JT USED TO HIT THE HEAVY BAG FOR AN HOUR, THEN SPAR FOR DEFENCE. OR SOMETIMES HE WOULD JUST DO SPARRING WITH SEVEN-MINUTE ROUNDS. HE WORKED HARD, BUT JUST COULD NOT STOP EATING BURGER KING AND DOUGHNUTS (HIS MOM OWNED A BAKERY)....

however, I am very disappointed in his lack of seriousness and motivation, if he stayed in the same form he was in when he fought Holyfield i feel he could of unified the HW division. I think that is a longshot at this point, but lord willing he will have one more chance, even if he doesn't deserve it.

I saw the fight already ass monkey, the fight was close, but my point stands.

Toney's victory over him came in Reggie Johnson's prime. RJJ simply beat up a past prime fighter who was Toney's leftovers.

And Toney got right back up, weathered the storm, and came back in that same round.

Another ass monkey who doesn't know what he's talking about. Just runs to boxrec and pretends he's an expert.

Lederman gave him round 10. It was funny though, he said something like...well Toney stole this round...only because roy didnt do a heck of alot.

                    Worthless *******.
                    Round 2:
Roy catches Toney with a straight right hand with 29 seconds left to go in the round. Toney the turns his body to the left and stumbles back a few steps. (Ill even admit that this one is questionable)

                    Round 3:
                    We all know this one.
Regardless if you agree with the kd or not, it was a clean punch that definitly stunend toney. The replay from a different angle proves this. Jones also caught Toney with a straight right on the way down.

                    Round 5:
Roy lands two consecutive left hooks that force Toney backwards. Toney does a little shuffle, the Roy lands. Jones lands another left and a straight right hand. "Toney pretending not to be hurt but he is wobbled" -Jim Lampley. Shortly after this, Roy lands another left, as Toney bends down and starts moving his body around, clearly having no clue what he is doing.
This all happens starting with 1:28 in round 5 and finished with 1:15 left in the round

Round 7: 2:15 left in round 7, Roy lands a solid left, straight right hand, straight right hand again and two left hooks. Toney is literally spinning his body to get away from Jones, and Lampley states "solid left...and toney is in some trouble!"

Round 8: With about 2:40-2:35 left in the 8th, (clock wasnt up, so I couldnt be 100 percent sure) Roy lands a huge left to the body, Toney swings wildly, and Roy backs away, then lands a left hook, straight right hand to upper part of Toney's head (JT is bending down at this point) Toney takes a few steps backwards, annd Roy lands 2 quick combinations followed by a left hook and s straight right to the upperside of Toneys head as JT bends down, covers up and takes a few shots. At this point, one of the annuncers is talking about how Jones has hurt Toney a few times in this fight, but not seriously hurt, and then Lampley goes "HOW ABOUT NOW! HOW ABOUT NOW!!!" Merchent then yells "Hes just being completly overwhelmed!!" Lampley- "Jones landed a wallop to Toney's ribcage."
Throughout these punches by Jones, Toney throws zero punches.

After Bill Miller learned him the shoulder roll, a young Toney even beat heavyweights in the gym like Michael Bentt and Tony Tucker, and he used to live with Lindell Holmes when Lindell was IBF champ (as did Roy Jones).
