Jones was better at middle, better at supermiddle, better at lt heavy, and up to this point, was better at heavy.
So how can you rate JT above him??
Hes a better cruiser, bc Roy wasnt one, and HW is close, because Toney should have beaten Ruiz, but at his best weight and 2 others, Roy was superior.
But JT is better all timeComment

Toney stumbled back because he landed a right hand and was off balance. Nice try, but Toney wasn't "rocked" as you meekly admit above.
Round 3:
We all know this one.
Regardless if you agree with the kd or not, it was a clean punch that definitly stunend toney.
The replay from a different angle proves this. Jones also caught Toney with a straight right on the way down.
Round 5:
Roy lands two consecutive left hooks that force Toney backwards. Toney does a little shuffle, the Roy lands.
Are you really this ****ing ******?
Jones lands another left and a straight right hand.
"Toney pretending not to be hurt but he is wobbled" -Jim Lampley.
Shortly after this, Roy lands another left, as Toney bends down and starts moving his body around,
This all happens starting with 1:28 in round 5 and finished with 1:15 left in the round
Try again.
Round 7: 2:15 left in round 7, Roy lands a solid left, straight right hand,
straight right hand again and two left hooks. Toney is literally spinning his body to get away from Jones,
and Lampley states "solid left...and toney is in some trouble!"
Round 8: With about 2:40-2:35 left in the 8th, (clock wasnt up, so I couldnt be 100 percent sure) Roy lands a huge left to the body,
Toney swings wildly, and Roy backs away, then lands a left hook, straight right hand to upper part of Toney's head (JT is bending down at this point)
Toney takes a few steps backwards, annd Roy lands 2 quick combinations followed by a left hook and s straight right to the upperside of Toneys head as JT bends down,
Why the **** do you keep counting missed and grazed shots as "rocked". None of those follow up shots did any real damage to Toney, and the original body shot didn't rock Toney anymore than a few good bodyshots from Jirov did.
covers up and takes a few shots. At this point, one of the annuncers is talking about how Jones has hurt Toney a few times in this fight, but not seriously hurt,
and then Lampley goes "HOW ABOUT NOW! HOW ABOUT NOW!!!"
Merchent then yells "Hes just being completly overwhelmed!!"
Throughout these punches by Jones, Toney throws zero punches.
There ya go Gunstar and LightsOut.
You lied and were caught.
Now crawl back into a rock.Comment
