I don't even care about results in boxing, i just find it fascinating regardless, but it seem to me that lately people just call any competitive round close and rely on compubox(which is just innaccurate fluff) to tell them who won.
This is probably why there should be more even rounds scored. Judges and fans alike often given a round to someone when not much has happened, just because. I am not sure if there is some sort of rule against it with the sanctioning bodies however.

I would definitely like to see more even rounds. I always find at least 1 or 2 in most fights to be even.

      • Fight was 7-5 to the thai fighter imo. I voted for estrada but i guess he waits to much unleashing his arsenal.

        • When Estrada stood his ground in the 12th he hurt Rungvisai badly, I think if he stands his ground earlier in the rematch he might be able to stop the Thai.

Dont worry though, you're not a Mass Shooter, the U.K. doesn't have that problem, you're just a regular white that loves him some non-Mexican and non-black fighters.
            Glad this racist was banned!

Or he'll take more punishment by putting himself in the line of fire and be worn down late.

That also had to do with Sor Rungvisai being tired. I don't think those same shots would have had the same effect earlier.

Before the fight I really thought Estrada would outbox him and land good counters more than he did. But he was not able to do much til after the 10th rd. I have only seen Estrada once before though and Sri twice.

He respected him. Probably too much. They mentioned during the second round that after the first, in his corner, he was telling his trainer how powerful Rungvisai was.

This; I couldn't have said it better, mate.

I don't think there's any rule regarding sanctioning bodies either.

It's simply a 10 point must system, so if it's an even round, it just has to be 10-10.

                    • Estrada is an excellent boxer...he just needs to bring what he did in the 12th round earlier.. .

He needed to take the risk..stay in the pocket and exchange more because Rung outworked him.

In other words fight a bit more like prime Morales, Barrera, and JMM.

He needs to exchange because his countering is not enough to deter Rungvisai.
