Nothing to brag about. Boxing has been on the come up in Europe and on the down slide in the US. Mexicans and Europeans are the only one's selling tickets.

Obviously Wilder vs Ortiz is a very good, interesting fight, but African Americans are just not a draw right now. Bet you a fight like Crawford vs Spence, or Thurman vs Spence, or Thurman vs Crawford would also get little love at the gate.

Why not just go to Ticketmaster or whatever site is selling tickets and look it up?

Lame thread from a "fan" of the sport.

How many does the place hold? I can understand not selling most the bums he's fought before but I thought Americans view of Ortiz was that was decent?

Why is it lame? Because it shows Wilder isn't a big enough draw to make demands like 50/50 from Joshua?

When you're the B-side, you demand more than you're worth. When you're the A-side, you offer less than the B-side is worth.

Nobody actually believes the fight should be a 50/50 split. But Wilder has to demand 50/50 initially because Hearn is going to demand 70/30 initially. This is how high level negotiations work.

The fact that you're so hung up on 50/50, when this has already been repeatedly explained to you, shows just how brainwashed you are by Hearn.

I'm honestly surprised that there are still any tickets left for the fight considering the size and importance of it.

Wilder asking for 50% is like a car dealer pricing a car at 5x it's worth, nobody is going to bother negotiating because it's ridiculous.

Wilder also said "50/50 or no fight" that's not negotiating, that's an ultimatum.
