Yeah, I haven't heard of anyone that has done that before.

Rungvisai's win over Gonzalez in my opinion is equally as impressive as Pac's win over Barrera. I am rooting for him tonight to take down Estrada, similarly to how Pac ultimately defeated Morales. But if Rung is successful what happens next?

Does HBO start giving him the Manny treatment? Calling him p4p, saying he's better than Crawford, Loma..do they start the non-stop marketing hype machine? HBO needs a star real bad and I'd hate to see them grab Rungvisai and try to make him Pac II.

With HBO he'll end up with a Golovkin-like fanbase and I wouldn't be surprised if hardcore fans went from enjoying Rung to wanting to see him get knocked out just like what ultimately happened to Pac. I would love to see Rung be successful and get paid but Jim Lampley and Kellerman will make us hate Rungvisai if left in their hands!
I call him Minny Pacquiao for a reason.

The only people who complain about HBO hype are usually those black guys on youtube, if you noticed its only when a non black gets hyped or praised its wrong, they call them hype jobs, HBO can praise Crawford or whatever young black dude like they did with Broner and Berto yet no complaints no hype job **** comments.

Only wrong when its a non black boxer, shows you the entitlement mentality of these guys if a black guy gets hyped its good and deserved, a white or asian or latino he a hype job hbo is racist, that guy is a fraud he will get exposed soon he fights bums lol

Rungvisai's punches aren't all that technically skillful looking. In fact some of them look amatuerish that he threw at Choc but like I said, with the power behind them and Choc not handling the weight as well, it did damage. I couldn't see him having a rise similar to Pac, not to mention the age already that he's at.
Pac was not technically sound either at that time. As a matter of fact though he was fast and powerful we often called him a one handed fighter. I do agree that Rung's age is the biggest difference and main factor working against him.

I didn't say it but I do think the pressure of being the latest and greatest boxing star may have led Pac to PEDS. It still makes no sense that a guy as small as he was could move up and compete at welterweight with no speed or power loss.

Rungvisai is not in a glamour division, isn't the real money at junior lightweight and above?

Most of those "Black YouTubers" are generally supportive and initially like those fighters but they are not blind. They see the merits and flaws in fighters and are not biased. For instance, though I like Pac, I personally could never see why anyone would think Pac could beat Floyd?? That debate ended up causing racial factions/hate when Black boxing fans (youtubers) would break down why Pac would lose to Floyd. Why people got mad about it I'll never understand!

I think the difference with Black boxing fans and fans of other ethic backgrounds is Black fans usually judge, choose, predict according to skills, not emotional attachment. One great example is Loma, I have not seen any legit Black youtuber or blogger knock Loma's skill and talent. The only argument Black fans make is Crawford should be #1 cause he's accomplished more.
