  • Comments Thread For: Coldwell To Eubank Jr. - Beg Adam Booth To Take You Back!

Veteran trainer Dave Coldwell ate a bit of crow with last Saturday's outcome in the semi-final bout in the World Boxing Super Series super middleweight tournament. WBA super middleweight champion George Groves won a twelve round unanimous decision by outboxing Chris Eubank Jr. at the Manchester Arena.

I can't imagine booth being able to put up with eubank and his dad. They come as a pair. And eubank jr is an idiot himself, he won't listen.

Booth is probably the best British trainer.

That sharp sort of ambush style might have suited and.

Won't happen, Jr will keep doing what he's doing, nobody will want to work with him if his dad is in the mix

Ordinarily somebody loses a fight they just lose a fight. What's with this myth that theres a better fighter, a world beater lurking under the surface of Eubank Jnr, waiting to come out? There's zero evidence of this.

Coldwell is right. Jr. was even worse than vs BJS. It's an obvious regress, guys.

Hilarious how the Eubanks fooled so many people into think Jr was something special. I think they even fooled themselves along the way.

Dont think Eubank snr was meddling, he was the one who brought Adam Booth in.
It was Eubank Jnr who didnt listen

It's just so unusual to see someone reaching a high level with such a lack of basic skills. I think its natural for trainers to look at Eubank Jr and think, just get him into the gym for a year, develop a decent jab, some (any) movement and some kind of gameplan and he should improve beyond all recognition.

Nothing wrong with his heart. He kept on eating that jab from 1 to 12. So I would think some are looking at him and wondering if they could succeed where others have failed.

I can't even recall Booth being with Eubank. Slipped my mind that one.

But yeah, Coldwell is right, Eubank needs to change things up no doubt.
