"But I can imagine that now that he's out of the game, he can do it more freely. I recently had a 45-minute conversation over the phone with him about Jesus Christ, but, face-to-face, we've spoken quite often. He came down for a few of my sparring sessions and he'll be coming to a few more.
    This part made me laugh.

I remember thinking that Dirrell was going to beat Ward back in the super six. He seemed so supremely skilled that I never would have envisioned his career turning out this way. Hope he can turn around but it might be too late.

So I guess he's deft losing this fight now. When will other fighters see Virgil is not a good trainer to fighters not named Andre Ward.

Dirrell would benefit from having some of the mental toughness and tenacity that Andre Ward has.

Uzcategui aka Lil Uzi Vert is getting the KO in the first or second round lol Only way I see Dirrell winning is if Uzcategui let his emotions get the best of him.

He needs a whole new team. Guys who won’t yell at him to “stay down!” And have him acting like he couldn’t continue. That’s just disgraceful and although I know this is a business, at its core it’s about competition, one guy facing off against another, only one winner. To actually pretend to be too hurt and disoriented to continue fighting so that you can sneak away with a Win in a fight you were losing handily is a cowardly and chickenshet way of handling yourself. Lost the tiny amount of respect I had for Dirrell when I saw that travesty. Rooting for the Ooze Cat in the rematch. I hope this will be the end of seeing Dirrell in any title fights or televised fights.

I always heard about god given talents Dre Direll had but never saw it.

I mean, I wish god gave him an inside game, maybe he has in the gym...

I wish Dirrell the best because boxing is a tough sport. Hope he can perform as good as he can in the gym. He seems frightened a bit when he fights under the lights.

Think most people feel that way. Can only envision that the only people that will want him to win are his die-hard fans and that any neutral will want to see him soundly defeated.
