Arias was just a loudmouth who didn't back up a single thing he said, this should be much more competitive. Expect a good fight

I think this is going to be a very competitive fight, don't rule out Sulecki pulling off the upset

If Danny had fought, and not just tried to survive, he might be champion today!

            Nah.....

GGG woulda given 80%, accidentally extending his KO streak, and lost the ginger lottery

“We've called out the champions to no avail so we have to stay active and fight the guys that the public respect. They may not know him but if they do their research they'll see he's a real guy, an active live dog. I know he's bringing a lot to Barclays and I have to be at my best to get the win and hunt down the Middleweight champions.”

Why ain't he fighting Saunders though? Surprised nobody cried yet.

Uh-oh, Jacobs is going to face another big puncher. Better come in over-weight again, Danny boy!

I pull for Jacobs and all but he needs to stop blaming arias for him not getting the KO. He should have pressed the action more, just like he should have pressed the action in the GGG fight. If you want the KO you have to set it up. Fighters aren't just gonna let you do what you want lol haha So shut up and move on dude. With that said Jacobs via KO.

Jacobs is in a very strange place. He is in a division with big names and talents, huge money stars, and top up and comers. But there is really zero reason for any of them to fight him. He is a name enough we boxing fans want to see him in with top guys, but all the top guns want each other. Saunders, Trip G and Alvarez are not putting him on their radar when they want to box each other for belts/money and Charlo is already in position for "I got next" without risking against Jacobs so why should he bother? Good mid-range MW bring nothing to the table for Jacobs. What should he do, bring the recently humbled Lemieux in to make a slightly higher payday but be criticized for fighting damaged goods? Take on a serious MW like Sergiy Derevyanchenko, Royota Murata, or (my personal favorite choice) a fantastic match-up with Demetrius Andrade who bring so much risk but will not bring huge paydays or gates yet?

I like me some Miracle Man. I think Jacobs is borderline elite, a fringe P4P talent. But he is in no mans land right now. He seems like 2018 will be a strictly stay busy year for him with no real huge event on the horizon until everyone else gets their shot first or another of these MW's develop a nice following to make the reward worth the risk.
