I think this is what will happen. If he can avoid injury during the fight, Haye will win unimpressively. It's now been nearly 2 years and 2 major injuries since he came back and beat up those bums, which showed us nothing. When he steps in the ring against Bellew it will be nearly 6 years since he won a proper fight.

The 2012 David Haye would be a 2018 contender. He's not the 2012 David Haye.

Why not retire now? You're irrelevant to the sport.

Is David Haye still a thing? Was he ever?

He's like the Jennifer Aniston of boxing.

        Nice hair!

Because he's about to make another seven figures?

True! But isn't it strange that someone is willing to pay him at this point? Is the UK that desperate for fighters?

But he can lose more pieces of his body in the ring if he continues to torture himself into thinking that he's still a fighter.

Haye piling on pressure on himself with these statements, does way too much talking when his body is no longer reliable.

Yeah Haye knew in the last fight that he couldn’t quit, he had to go down with the ship.

Don’t get me wrong, I don’t really like Haye, but it is somewhat commendable that someone like him was at least aware of his reputation in terms of quitting/excuses, given his own history.

He will show up and win or lose his performance will not match his words. Typical Haye.

There isn’t room for him anymore and hasn’t been for a long while.
