Comments Thread For: Amir Khan: I Just Could Not Retire After The Canelo Loss

The last time anyone saw former world champion Amir Khan (31-4, 19 KOs) in the ring, he was knocked out cold by Canelo Alvarez (49-1-2, 34 KOs) in May of 2016 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Khan had moved up to a catch-weight of 155-pounds to challenge Canelo for the WBC middleweight title.

China chin made the best out of his Olympic silver medal and put some coins on the table. I'm hoping I see him fighting Spence and or Thurman at some point. A rematch with Danny Garcia would be a good thing but I don't see slime ball Eddie Hearn doing that.

It's time for him to get his ass back in the ring. It's been nearly two years since he last seen action in the squared circle. Being inactive is only going to prove to age and rust him. He is already 31 years of age and no longer a kid. It's time to either fight or retire.

It'd be good to see him face the top guys in the states but I don't think he can hang with the Thurmans, Spences or Porters at this point.

I see him having one or two tune-ups and line up for a domestic show down with Brook.

Kahn and Brook are at similar points in their careers and it makes sense to face each other later this year after some build up. They'll fill the MEN arena and it'll be on Sky Box Office.

The successor may then be ready for another title shot at one of the top guys in the US.

Who knows, maybe we'll Kahn, Garcia and Brook, Spence rematches.

        We'll see.

Looking back on it I'm glad that fight happened. It was a perfect example of the reason weight classes exist.

Losing to Le Greco would definitely speed up that process if he isn’t careful.

Khan act like he was actually in the jungle making life decisions.

I wonder if he was deciding his future between having his make up put on and getting the lighting right.
