Canelo is overrated.. This man has outweighed the majority of his opponents. My question is in what big fight evenly match has this man had a legendary performance. I agree with Hopkins with if Canelo went to the GGG body he would had won the fight. Floyd dominated him, ok performance against a old Mosley and Cotto. He was given decisions against Lara and Trout. And this man is top fighter on.P4P list.

yeah.. because the suppose ko artist making claims of knocking out his opponent, decided at the beginning of the fight, that he wanna play tag instead of going thru with his words and knock his opponent out. let's hope this time he comes thru with his words.

Boxers claiming a KO for their fight has never been done!

Just like claiming 154-168 was easy was exclusive to Golovkin

I do think he gets favorable scoring though and think he pushed back his fight with ggg. Now yes, Canelo faced better competition early but you have to know that having the option to do that is based on your popularity. Being Mexican and having the promotional backing helped Canelo to land those fights. Do you think Floyd would've fought ggg at any point? Do you think mosley would've? Or cotto? None of these hall of famers canelo faced would've fought ggg. You can only fight who's available to you. Same way Hagler had a great mw run but the division was perceived to be weak. So he had to wait for guys like hearns and Leonard to move up. Who did Hopkins beat for all of those mw defenses until tito and Oscar finally moved up? It's almost the identical scenario.
Of course ggg would of never fought those guys because ggg has never fought outside of 160! You know this, I know this, everyone knows it and all those boxers you named have never fought at 160. You that typical gggroupie who thinks ggg only fought who was “available” cmon bro! Wake up you sound like a total casual! Ggg didn’t fight anyone until he was in his mid 30’s, there is no excuse for that, the truth is he never fought a risky opponent because fans like yourself and hbo and the media built this guy up to be something he isn’t. That’s my whole point. But of course you will believe everyone was scared of ggg. Lame. Boxers aren’t afraid of others boxers, specially those who are big money fighters. Ggg was making good money on hbo this whole time and you can’t tell me, matter fact, you can’t tell yourself that you believe all the top fighters were scared of ggg. Stop it with that bs. Just see canelo retire this man on May 5! But hey, ggg and his team did their job, they going out against the cash cow making millions and fooling you and the rest of the 96999 fans he has.

If Golovkin was such a “hype-job”, then why didn’t Canelo beat him last time, much less knock him out?
Can’t you just enjoy the fact that the two best MWs are actually fighting each other?
RELax, was canelos first ever fight at 160, that was ggg like 400th. That matters trust me, canelo will be more ready this time.
