He struggled with Chilemba, yes, but still won... With Ward, my opinion is that he lost both fights. Outpointed in the first, mentally and physically beaten in the second. It hurt me to watch that one.
He knocked down Ward, threw and landed more punches in the first fight and deserved the win. Most boxing experts agree. The 2nd fight he was pretty much tit for tat until getting hurt with an overhand right and was stopped with several low blows. He pretty much got jobbed both times. (I do agree that he was on his way to losing the 2nd fight, however)

Hey if he actually bettered his lifestyle with not drinking in camps and all that **** i believe him. His body doesnt look weak and pale anymore...if he has that oil like glance on his body you know the Krusher is back to living healthy.

6-6 then at WORST plus the knockdown. 115-112 Kov.

Did you have a hard time seeing that he was talking about the first fight? No such thing happened in the first fight.

Kov is 35 in April. He's seen his best days. Respect to what he's done & what he'll do here out cuz he can still hang with many of these guys, but yea its a bad bet Kov hasn't seen his full potential already.

Oh please. Cut the bs Sergey. Fight and beat some real dudes first and then make that ****** meaningless claim. This guy has talent but needs someone to give him proper advice on how to conduct himself and communicate with the public

I really want to see him fight Bivol, Gvozdyk, and Beterbiev since I doubt we see Stevenson or Ward III.

I am talking about the first fight. Kovalev became less effective the second half of the fight because those body shots were breaking him down. You could see Kovalev's face, he wanted no part of the fight. He hung on and was able to finish the fight but the physical and mental damage was done. The second fight was the same except that Kovalev quit.
