"Spirit" whatever that means is a small part of the equation. Talent, conditioning, skill, and tactics win fights. All boxers deserve some respect. Calling Canelo or any other professional fighter a scared girl and other such nonsense only reflects badly on you, not on them. Appreciate the strength and weaknesses of the boxers. Learn the sport and up your game from the 5th-grade level name calling. You might enjoy it.

As far as GGG being hesistant to throw to the body because he was "scared of being countered" in the 1st fight, that's utter nonsense GGG was getting countered all night long and it didn't deter him from throwing. In fact he out threw and outlanded the younger fresher man who was landing counters all night.

GGG has been head hunting for his last 5 fights or so for whatever reason. If he chooses to carry out that same behavior in the rematch he'd be doing himself a huge disservice. And it may cost him the fight.

Both guys have grade A+ chins but their body's not so much. I don't see either guy going down from a head shot. So the question is whos gut is better.
Good analysis! Maybe we will see a "one-shot quitter" to the liver set up by a right hand or an uppercut.

If Canelo thinks GGG is gonna let him take breaks again in the middle rounds hes in for some trouble. Canelo hit GGG with some VICIOUS uppercuts and hooks!!! GGG has one of the best chins EVER!!!! Both these guys are P4P top 5 for a REASON!!!

GGG doesn’t have a good chin. Plenty of boxers, even Danny Garcia, just eating shots from many hard hitters, in two divisions... Chavez sr. proved his chin from various weights, not just the one he debuted.

Canelo hits hard, but he started at 140. When Danny hit GGG, you could see the Kazakh get frustrated.... so imagine what natural 168 hard hitters would do GGg’s great chin.

The real question is... could Gennady take the shot that Kova floored Ward with? We will never know because Ward ducked Golovkin at an HBO meeting! kafkod

I hear ya but those same shots KO'd Kirkland and Khan. And GGG just shook his them off!! I know when someone has a chin. Danny Garcia would of been TKO'd by those.

Kovalov would of taken GGG's haed off but there's reasons why we have weight classes.

No, the real question is ... was there even the slightest of trace of coherent, logical thought in your head when you wrote that?
