If he just kept fighting and continued to get schooled every round until the final bell (or got legitimately stopped before then), then I would agree his career shouldn’t have suffered over that.

...But he QUIT and now he’s gotta suffer the consequences. He thought he couldn’t get fighters in the ring with him before? Well good luck now that every potential opponent promoter is gonna point to this fight and say people won’t pay to see a guy who might quit halfway through the fight.

rigo must suffer the consequences for quitting like he did that was inexcusable. there is no coming back from this I wouldn't be shocked if rigo never fights again.

Rigondeaux is getting a lot of criticism because he quit. The fight wasn't that good and he quit before he really got schooled. Lomachenko hardly landed anything and Rigondeaux hardly threw any punches. It's as if this epic battle between two of the best didn't even take place at all.

Rigo needs to try to forget the Loma situation and take on anyone at 126 or 122, even 118. It doesn't even matter who it is. Rigo needs to fight. He only walks around at 128-129, which is similar to what guys at 115 weigh-in for the 30-day weigh-ins. He is a really small dude and needs to take whatever fights are right that can get him back going again.

No! I have no problem with quiting like Peterson did. I have problems when ppl quit because sht aint going there way and they just give up.

                      BIG difference
