I agree he's fkn human, yes he talked lot's of sh** and couldn't back it up but how many other boxers do the same?! Eubank was talking more sh** before the groves fight and people showed sympathy after the loss. Hope rigo comes back and wins some fights.

Yes...A loss can be dealt with IF you lose with some honour at the very least.

A loss with 0% integrity and honour can seriously taint anyone’s career, Rigo isn’t immune to that.

But that was bull****. He got forced into a fight he wasn't ready for in terms of weight. He had to make weight in an extremely unhealthy way for that fight, which made him feel extremely sick, and then he got punched in the stomach a few times, which made him feel even more sick, so he bowed out. That fight really had nothing to do with Leonard or even quitting. They forced him into the fight when he wasnt ready, on purpose, so that the next big star (Leonard) could be born. It's the same reason they robbed Kovalev, same reason they robbed Boone and Castillo against Ward and Floyd respectively, same reason they waited for GGG to get old before making the Canelo fight.

They don't fix fights as much anymore in the ring because they've learned how to ensure the outcomes they want simply through timing and other variables (drug testing and so on).

But yeah, Duran and Rigo are quite different. One is entertainng, one isn't. One quit because he should have been in a hospital after what he had to go through, one quit while in peak shape. It's just different. But, I'd still like to see Rigo face the best guys at 118, 122, and 126. I wouldnt risk paying for a ticket, but I'd like to see those fights.

Eubank still showed heart & showed he really was willing to die in that ring as he claimed beforehand(which im not saying fighters should be willing to do),I told everyone b4hand hes a 1 dimensional pub brawler & Im reveling in his humbling but he did gain some respect imo because he fought hard til the end & went for broke, unlike rigos bît*h azz

Theres a saying "never let a lie get in the way of a great story"

Thats the reason biased fanbois/ boxing dumb f**ks like dan Raphael have ALWAYS written nonsense & lies to sell papers. That's why they were happy to go along with the false narrative done 4 show to sell tickets, when Ali used to claim Patterson/Frazier were uncle toms which couldn't be further from the truth.

But its the most ******ED level of ******ity for these fanbois that compare the atg Duran to Rigo who fights in a division full of part time cab drivers,& who only has 17 fights or some sh in his career,& who didn't even show up whatsoever vs loma,he LITERALLY only showed up to get paid,it was no different than Charlos last opponent the 1 legged gimp on crutches.

Rigos in his own league of bîtchmade quitters who truly are boring af to watch, chavez Jr has much more heart than he does...
Good post... (bad sig). I thought you were an LDBC white hater? But you're defending Duran and calling a black writer racist? What's going on? Did I peg you wrong? WHO ARE YOU??? WHAT ARE YOU????

Thats because your a dumb ass fanboi who doesn't pay attention to my posts,I am a fan of fighters of literally every single race,I pick white fighters to win when they're fearless warriors like Froch/Groves/calzaghe etc.(theres not many),or just when I think they'll win esp vs bums like Eubank. I respect fighters who are willing to sacrifice to be great,I despise cowards who are lying hypocritical hypejobs that spend(waste) their careers being protected.

Yep, "no mas" was a dreadful lie and has plagued duran ever since, whoever headlined it deserves to go to hell

Bad night? His corner unanimously quit!

Eubank got schooled, but at least he saw the fight through to the end vs. quitting on the stool.
