GOOD! Hopefully Showtime won't buy another Garcia fight unless it's vs Porter or Spence.

wow these are HORRIBLE. FOX finished DEAD last in the network primetime ratings. Matter fact PBC finished dead last for any individual prime time programming. Why is this bad? Because ABC and CBS refused to go up against the olympics and aired reruns. And still those reruns beat out PBC. FOX who the week prior ran reruns drew HIGHER ratings then PBC. Olympics drew 14.5M and ABC which aired basketball head to head against Olympics last week drew 2.7M. 1.1M is WORSE Network rating then any network that aired last week or the week before INCLUDING FOX who aired reruns last week. If you a network why pay for PBC when you can reair old shows and pull better ratings at a fraction of the cost?

Showtime had even worst ratings for Danny Garcia who just came back to Showtime after years of fighting on PBC and drew WORST ratings then his last fight on Showtime against bum Salka which drew 808K viewers.

Can't go against the NBA all star game + the Olympics (Winter but still people love that dumb sh^t). Plus the fights themselves weren't awe inspiring matchups too which didn't help.

Individual ratings breakdown of the Showtime fights
          Garcia/Rios 516K
          Benavidez/Gavril 458K
          Ugas/Robinson 314K

Ugas fight seems low probably because the FOX card main event was still going on

What did anyone expect? Dang, even us die-hards weren't excited for Alexander-Ortiz. Maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but yea, that is honestly, ole Friday night fight quality fighters now.

Showtime's boxing numbers are still lower than hbo's. Despite, typically, having the much better fights. And this was one of the worst cards Showtime has had. Probably the 4th or 5th best guy in his weight class fighting a tune up. Good fights get good ratings. Bad fights get bad ratings. Alexander-Ortiz and Garcia-Rios are honestly god awful fights. Like I said, 5 or 7 years ago, when all four were top 140 lbers. than yea. This is 2018. The only one still relevant is Garcia, and he isn't the best or the biggest name.

ALways an excuse for crap pbc ratings. Eventually it’s going to be, “it’s on a Saturday, nobody watches tv on Saturday because there is too much stuff to do on the weekend.” The reality is, people are tired of garbage fights, from all networks. Difference is, the other networks don’t have a fan base lol.
