The dude, right away, after a long layoff, went after the undefeated WBC lightweight world champion that Linares was ducking and quickly knocked him out.

He then moved up to 140 to hand Broner his only loss in his best weight class. Now he's fighting for a world title at 140 and wants to fight for a world title at 147.

The dude used to fight at FEATHERWEIGHT!!! You should be praising him for having the balls to keep moving up in weight and instead you're ****ting on him because he's good and nobody at his weight would be 50-50 against him?!?

Cant you see that he keeps name dropping all the top fighters like Loma, Crawford, Spence ect but then when hes offered a good fight he takes lesser opposition. Could have fought Linares, Cotto and Easter and instead hes fighting Lipinets who really sucks. I used to ve a Garcia fan too until he ducked Gamboa and a career high payday. Now he gets to cherry pick bums when he could have been fighting Pacquiao on Ppv by now or even a year ago if he didnt duck Gamboa and stayed with Top Rank.

I'm sure Mikey believes he can beat all the names he keeps dropping but no one expects him to fight Spence or even chose him over Lomachenko.

Mikey is a smart fighter and he doesn't seem like a "talker" so I'll take him at his word. However, he needs to starting taking action at the same time.

That's my man! Major kudos to Mikey Garcia. He is a fan friendly fighter who is willing to give the fight fans the fights that they want to see. He just made a fan out of me.

As far as him ducking Lomachenko, he is a 130 lbs; Two weight classes below Mikey. It will be very difficult, after 13 months at this point of his career at 140 to cut back down to 135 in order to challenge Vasyl at a catch weight. Besides there is more money to made at the welterweight division anyway.

Perhaps, as early as next year, he and Terence Bud Crawford could get it on as a consolation prize to fight fans.
