We can look at the ratings for their fights and clearly see who the public is more interested in.

You'll say, "it's not fair, AJ fights in the afternoon!" But that doesn't change who is more popular. It just explains one of the reasons.
if Deontay fought in the afternoon his ratings would be the same as Joshua so boom he’s not much more popular

Canelo Khan? Khan ended up leaving Haymon to sign with Hearn lol.

As for that fight itself it is exactly what I was talking about lol. A big ppv fight. It wasn’t a regular hbo fight. As I stated. Haymon won’t let his A list fighters fight on regular hbo or ESPN. It’s a proven fact. So much u can’t give me one example of it not being true.

Khan Chavez and jacobs were big money ppv fights. And coincidently enough Khan and Jacobs left shortly after those fights. Guys like Dominic Wade John Molina and Felix Diaz are cannon fodder. Junk that Haymon has no need for.

When Danny Garcia Errol suspende Leo Santa Ceuz abner Mares off Keith thurman fight on hbo or Espn you wouldn’t be correct. Until then U are just wrong

but thats like saying if the cashier at the grocery store was a movie star instead of a cashier, theyd be more popular.

of course wilder is more popular because hes from here, fights here, is shown in primetime, etc.

of course if he wasnt from here, didnt fight here, fought in the afternoon, etc hed be less popular.

but the reasons hes more popular here doesnt change the fact that hes more popular here. your position is ridiculous.

          • Mikey Garcia fights damaged or over the hill fighters.

He will not fight a difficult opponent unless he can get paid.

In his defense, however, he was robbed of 2 years of his prime years and the sport is called prize fighting... not fan-pleasing.

actually yours is ridiculous. I bet you if Joshua fights miller this summer his ratings are on par with Wilders.

Dude. Big fights on HBO are on PPV. Haymon’s fighter Khan fought Canelo on HBO PPV. ESPN and Top Rank haven’t even been in business for a year yet so back up, get a meaningful sample size and then revisit your ESPN arguement. By the way, Danny Jacobs is still with Haymon and he fights on HBO. What’s your explanation here?

espn and hbo are the networks where Al’s A list fighters don’t fight. Only on purpose per view and only if the fighter puts his foot down. HBO has big fights not on ppv like super fly and Saunders Lemieux etc you’re right that they don’t have a ton but that is mostly because Top Rank left and Ward retired.

by the way Danny jacobs is NOT still with Haymon. Haymon was in the background on the Arias fight not anymore. He’s just with his manager Kevin connolly and promoter Eddie Hearn. What’s your explanation there ?

                  • Danny Jacobs was a Haymon A List fighter to use your terminology. He fought on HBO PPV vs GGG and then fought again on HBO against some bum named Arias and now he is fighting some blown up Jnr middleweight on HBO who has previously fought on Haymon’s PBC. I haven’t heard that he left Haymon and suspect Haymon still advises Jacobs

What if he was the greatest fighter that ever lived and nobody would be a 50-50 fight? We're suppose to trash him for that?

Such a strange way of thinking.

The dude, right away, after a long layoff, went after the undefeated WBC lightweight world champion that Linares was ducking and quickly knocked him out.

He then moved up to 140 to hand Broner his only loss in his best weight class. Now he's fighting for a world title at 140 and wants to fight for a world title at 147.

The dude used to fight at FEATHERWEIGHT!!! You should be praising him for having the balls to keep moving up in weight and instead you're ****ting on him because he's good and nobody at his weight would be 50-50 against him?!?

And what weight would that be? At 135 he could certainly be in a 50/50 against Lomachenko. 140 is a wasteland of nobodies and lol at beating Broner at his best weight. Broner best weight was the weight where he was so much bigger than everyone that people actually thought he was good.
Garcia throws out alot of names then doesn't fight any of them. Talked about Linares, LOMACHENKO, Cotto, SPENCE, Thurman, D Garcia, Easter and probably some others I'm missing yet he's fighting another guy who's beaten absolutly NOBODY and holds a meaningless trinket of a title.
