If you truly believe that, you don't know Mikey at all. He is very serious about eventually moving to 147 to fight the top guys. He may be successful, he may get embarrassed, but he's sure as hell going to try unless he ends up struggling at 140.

If Spence is still at 147 by the time Mikey gets there, that's a fight Mikey wants. The problem with Crawford is that he isn't with Haymon. So a Crawford fight isn't realistic. But that's not Mikey's fault. It's Crawford's fault for having an exclusive promotional agreement with a promoter who doesn't work with the stable that has all the top welterweights.

He knows he gets wrecked bad in both of those fights.
No. He doesn't. He may get wrecked in those fights, but he doesn't know that. Great fighters have confidence that is completely delusional. It's part of what makes them so great. You have to dream it before you can be it.

He also knows there was no way he would get Cotto without giving options.
That's not his fault. He was a 135 pound champion calling out a 154 pound champion and willing to fight at the full 154 pound limit. And he was deadly serious about it. He would have gladly taken the fight as a one and done. If he got destroyed, so be it. But he wasn't going to sign a long term exclusive promotional agreement with GB to get that fight when GB's roster is so thin.

He could have flight Linares and then Lipinets. He didn’t have to fight Lipenets first. He’s a big talker and not a doer
You have the facts backwards. Mikey can't force Linares to fight him. Linares can force Mikey to fight him. For TWO YEARS, Linares has had a guaranteed title shot whenever he wants it. He just has to snap his fingers and go to purse bid. But Linares, over and over, even before Mikey won the title, chooses to duck and dodge.

Finally, the WBC is ordering a purse bid next month. Let's see which side ducks it. That will tell you all you need to know about who has been ducking this fight. It hasn't been Mikey.

these guys don't really want to fight mikey and GB only wants the fights if they can sign mikey.
this is wrong bro. Mauricio is on record saying he wouldn’t force a purse bid and would allow them one more voluntary. That’s why we got here. Linares Can’t force WBC to order a purse bid.

tou are off on all counts. U must not know Mikey at all. On this very sight on Sunday a video of Mikey was posted where he said he was going to fight Lipinets and then move DOWN to 135 for Linares or Lomachenko and then move back up to 140 after that. So when would he fight Errol? End of 208 when errol is at 154? Get a clue bro. Mikey said r himself. He also said he didn’t have the power at 140 to hurt Broner. So we know at 147 he won’t hurt a fly. Now u are acting delusional.

Why did mikey call out Cotto if he wants to fight at 154 and not give options? Jermel Charlo would wreck him at 154 and not request options lmao

I honestly thought Mikey wanted to fight Loma.

This cat left 135 when Loma moved north and Mikey is now at 140 since Crawford abandoned it. How convenient.
            Excellent maneuvering for sure.

Moro said that because that's what Linares asked for. If Linares had asked for a purse bid at any time in the last two years, he would have gotten one. He was GUARANTEED a title shot in in FIRST fight back. He declined. He's fought over and over and over, each time, refusing to fight for the title. This has been going on long before Mikey was the champion.

Linares CAN force the WBC to order a purse bid. You're flat out wrong. Having been influenced by the HBO/GB propaganda machine (Ring ****zine which they own, reporters they have in their back pocket like Dan Rafael, etc).

Moro said he's ordering a purse bid next month and suddenly Linares wanted to fight Loma. Mikey is not going to duck this fight. Watch what happens with the purse bid. It'll be the moment of truth. It's just like Stevenson and Kovalev where the HBO/GB propaganda machine had everyone convinced it was Stevenson ducking, but in the moment of truth, it was Kovalev who ducked.

I speak to his camp regularly and I'm pretty plugged in to their plans.

Correct. Assuming Linares doesn't duck the purse bid, the plan is beat Lipinets at 140, pay the IBF a special permit fee to fight one last fight at 135 against Linares to unify. He would then vacate both 135 pound belts to explore defending the IBF 140.

Haymon is getting the WBC rankings ready so he can capture the WBC lightweight title when Mikey vacates. Check the top 5, Haymon has most of them. Haymon doesn't think Linares will fight Mikey, so he's been stacking the WBC rankings and ignoring the WBA rankings in that weight class.

Mikey moving to 147 could be mid to late 2019, depending on whether there are money fights at 140. If Spence leaves the weight class before Mikey gets there, so be it. But if you ask Mikey who he wants to fight next year, you can't blame him for mentioning Spence when it's somebody he legitimately wants to fight. If Spence outgrows the weight class, that's not Mikey's fault and there will still be big fights for him waiting at 147. Haymon has 147 totally stacked. Mikey will have several major opponents waiting.

I'm not saying he'll be successful at 147. But he will try. He's very serious about that.

if Spence offers mikey the fight in June or the fall I bet u 10k mikey ****s the offer saying the money wasn’t right. He isn’t serious about fighting Spence. I can get him the Charlo Lara or Hurd fight right now.

U talk to his camp regularly? I just revealed yourself. Hi ellie Seckbach.
