Thurman been out so long and the injury, he gets a tune up fight, as did Ward recover up to LHW...

Thurman is BAR NONE THE BIGGEST BÎATCH IN BOXING ATM BY FAAAR!!! the irony is most the thurman fans talk sh 24/7 about other fighters yet defend this openly ducking pûssey with 2 belts. Imagine the FACT that groves is going to fight in the wbss final MERE MOS after dislocating his shoulder, but this bîtch 1 time is STILL SHOOK 10 mos after having a minor outpatient procedure elbow scraping (which I had done & healed from in weeks completely"@ around 10 days I was already hitting the speedbag better than ever & this dude has had 10 mos to waste honeymooning with wifey like a whipped bîa)

This dude has no shame & will forever be considered a self admitted duck🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆🦆

      Its duck season

Oh he wants to fight him. But he knows it's #1 - the toughest fight and #2 - the fight with the most commercial potential if built right.

So he's not going to rush into the toughest fight before it's a big money fight.

SPENCE HAS ONLY MADE ONE DEFENSE. THE PUBLIC DOESN'T KNOW SPENCE YET.

Next year, the fight will be so much bigger than it would be this year. The fight needs a year or so of the hardcore nerds whining, moaning and *****ing about wanting to see the fight. That outcry is often the best way to spread the word about a fight and get the casual public interested.

Actually, all the ww's are salty but especially Porter and DSG. Thurman is somehow allowed to keep his two belts without ever defending them. 15, 16 months without a fight. How can Thurman go one and one quarter year without even fighting and another six or seven months to fight someone in the top 10?? Yes, contenders do get salty when the champ goes two years without facing a top 10 challenger. Its not just fighters, Thurman, the fans get salty too.

You just made one of the best comment on this thread.I don't see the problem of wanting to test his elbow in a competitive fight to see where he is at on a fitness level. If I were to be his adviser, I would recommend the same. This is hurt business and Porter, Garcia and Spence are no bums. You don't fight these guys if you are unfit. He is lucky that he has great advisers around him, just look at Kell Brooks career right now, damaged eyes, and depression. Brook was advised wrongly to fight GGG at 160, a 147 pounder for that matter and should have moved up after GGG fight. After the lights, most fans don't care about the fighters.

I hope this is the case and the fight does happen. I think num 1 vs 2 and think both these guys beat the others around them in Porter, Garcia, Horn and Crawford.

I think we need to see how Crawford is at Welterweight before he is considered for Thurman and Spence. Coming up in weight and now being the smaller fighter will be interesting. Just think Thurman and Spence will be too big.

To be honest and to tell you truth; I don't see Thurman fighting none of the elite welters in 2018. This is like a recovery year for him in order to gauge his health and skill after coming off that elbow surgery.

I can can see him bypassing all of the top names at 147 until 2019. Therefore in the interim, it's time for the other elite welters in division to make some noise by challenging each other and quit barking at Keith for a fight.
