This is just an ignorant statement. Margarito has accomplished more than Spence ever will? Cuz Margarito was so much more technically sound and gifted? FOH!

I just don't understand why with all his upsides, one would place a limit on Spence that he won't ever achieve what Margarito has achieved. Sure Forrest was the better guy but he had Mayorga problems.

I'm trying to think. I guess the highlight of Margarito's career was stopping Cotto and getting his face busted in by Manny.

This is the standard Spence can never achieve? Call me whatever but I think Spence has a chance to clean out 147 and rule it for awhile. IMO that would surpass Margarito.

I think Spence will be better too but it has nothing to do with being technically sound, which Spence really isn’t yet. He has quite a few flaws, but he has good speed and power to carry him.

Speed which Margarito doesn't have. If you don't get that my reference to technically sound is just one reason why I don't think we should place a Margarito ceiling on Spence Jr who is still really getting started then I have nothing else to say.

You guys are correct I believe Spence does get hit more often than I would like but he usually gets the better of the exchanges IMO. We will just have to wait and see. Surely not limited by a Margarito ceiling, Spence has much time to improve.
