Spence vs. Vargas seems possible for Spence's third fight of the year. Vargas jumping up the IBF rankings isn't an accident. As soon as Thurman passed on Vargas, suddenly Vargas jumped through the IBF.
Wasn't sure if Ocampo was willing to take the fight. Mandos should help Spence keep active at least.

I don't get it. Is it Ugas or is it Ocampos that is Spence's mandatory?

Last I heard Ocampos was his mandatory, so what the hell was this Ugas eliminator for? What is his position now? Does Spence have two mandatories? If so then why? I thought that only happens when you won a vacant title.

Ocampo vs Spence was ordered. Ugas now got a mandatory position. Both are now IBF mandatories for Spence.

Ocampo and Ugas can get it back to back on the same night.

Spence don't want that work. Ugas beat Ray Robinson. Easily the best resume in boxing. Who else has a win over the legendary Sugar Ray?

            keep duckin Errol..

Porter, Garcia, Thurman, none of these guys are fighting Spence anytime soon, so Ugas may well get his wish. Types of fights PBC people are willing to make. They're cheaper too.

                  This. Big time.

Ugas is a fringe Top 25 guy. People keep hyping Spence up, but he's done nothing.

He beat Lamont Peterson in lesser fashion than Matthyse did years ago.

33 year old Peterson at 147 coming off 11 month layoff against a journeyman...

28 year old at 140 coming off upset win over Khan and TKO of Kendall Holt.

Spence's other good win is against kickboxer Chris Algieri.

His best win is against an opponent who jumped up 2 weight classes, had facial surgery and then came back down 2 weight classes. Anyone who knows about boxing or wrestling understands you cant do that to your body. And that was a good win, a competitive fight for 8 rounds until Brook - predictably - fatigued and starting getting hit more cleanly.

So at 29 years old Spence is going to fight...Ugas? Who?

Don't need a promoter doe. Don't want to fight Cotto doe. Rather fight Lamont Nobody doe.

                  Spence PFP #1 doe
