      PBc is weird.

They have the ability to put on good fights and do OCCASIONALLY- they have a deep roster. Most of the main events are complete trash, rios-garcia was TRASH.

It's more of a ponzi scheme designed to pay out boxers MEH

PBC puts on a LOT of events. Almost every Showtime Championship Boxing card is presented by PBC. All of the FOX & FS1 shows are PBC. When you're pumping out that kind of volume, not every fight can be the biggest fight of all time.

But year in and year out, PBC gives us more big fights than any other entity in US boxing. So the complaints still don't make any sense to me. Why is this site so obsessed with trashing the group that is delivering the best fights? Where is the logic in that? The double standard Haymon is held to is absolutely insane.

Who would forget? It was just a year or so ago. Brook was getting restless with the way things were going for him getting bad rep of only fighting unrecognized mandatories. He was calling out Garcia in particular and Broner, too. He said he's willing to travel to the US. Then added Thurman, probably when no one was calling his bluff.

Fast forward, GGG vs Brook happened. No welter from PBC camp wanted him, except Vargas, who was with TR.

Has nothing to do with what Thurman or Garcia wanted. There was zero reason for Haymon to make a fight with Brook unless it was a mandatory. Haymon is king at welterweight. To maintain his control, he has to be careful.

Hearn took a calculated risk to snatch the IBF welterweight title away from Haymon and when the time was right, Haymon took a calculated risk and snatched it back.

Now Haymon controls the WBC, WBA and IBF at welterweight AND the WBC, WBA and IBF at super welterweight.

Which means Kell Brook's only option is the WBO, which sucks for Brook because Arum & Warren usually completely control the WBO and Hearn has no pull with the WBO.

Warren did sell the WBO at 54 to Golden Boy, so it's possible Brook could target the belt before Warren gets it back, but it's not going to be easy unless Hearn is willing to massively overpay.

Boxing is becoming more popular. Killing the sport how?

Haymon gave you more big fights last year than anybody else. His top fighters fight once or twice a year, just like everybody's else's top fighters. Why is he held to a double standard?
