I thought my point was pretty clear. I'm giving Benavidez props for a heck of a fight and commending Gavril for toughing it out through unspeakable pain. We have fighters quit when they're hurt and fighters tough it out even when they're hurt. What's hard to believe is people are quitting because someone can box really well.

Would’ve shown more class not to even mention Gavril injuries. But he did say “I couldn’t knock him out, he was a tough son of a gun”. That doesn’t sound like a bruised ego to me
