LOL, although in fairness the fight sounded close enough (I didn't watch just followed on the rbr & on twitter) it coulda went either way, but yea lol those scorecards & one could argue the fight was purchased cuz ultimately the scorecards didn't say it was a fight that could have gone either way.

Its standard the judges in Arum's promoted fights seem to be wider than they feel like when its a competitive fight like this. No fewer upsets then on TR cards. Thats partially due to matchmaking cuz Arum's guy moves guys soooooo carefully with so many soft touches (which is good for TR, but bad for fans), but the judges seem sketchy to me too in too many TR close fights. And sh^t man its not like that isn't a thing with multiple big fights it just feels like it happens on TR cards more. Then again I'm a admitted Arum hater so maybe I'm being overly biased here (I try not to be, but sometimes that sh^t slips all the way in there like some "just the tip" gone wrong type sh^t)

The common sense approach would be to use the GGG vs
Canelo replay as a lead in to the live fight between Loma v Linares. I get sooooooo tired of this a$$ show of politics between GBP, TR, etc

From Arum's & ESPN's side they don't want the fight on HBO, from ESPN"s side exclusively they can't fit it into their schedule cuz they got the NBA playoffs.

Sounds good, won't work doe. Only thing that can work is another date being fair to both sides. But my assumption is Arum won't wanna bend there either despite that being the clear bend point for reasonable mfers trying to make things happen.

Maybe in August then a Unification fight against Linares. Loma will pressure Arum that he wants to fight other World Champs in his division. His goal is to unify the whole division.

Idk what Loma will do personally & I got massive doubts with all these guys at putting their foot down with their promoters being that you can lose a couple years of your career if you do so (Mikey, Ward, Chavez Jr, Algieri, etc & so on). Once you signed the contract I think you flushed a nice amount of your control down the toilet so if you are dealing with a guy who won't bend like Arum doesn't seem to bend you are potentially asking for huge career trajectory issues by drawing a line in the sand.

GB and HBO screwed Linares out of big pay day again. I guess back to fighting meaningless fights for 250k in an empty Forum for Linares. Both Mikey and Loma be getting million dollar pay days without Linares why he's stuck getting paid peanuts by Oscar.

Has TR counter programmed any Manny PPV replay with a big enough fight like Loma vs Linares? Its f#cking ******. I'm all for counter boxing programming, but you can't be THAT blind to not see the problem with counter programming your own sh^t which is what Canelo & Linares would be doing here for GBP.

If not this giant testicle needs to try again. Don't see anything HBO is doing wrong here & LOL at Arum steady acting like GBP isn't even involved in this whole thing. I think the fact Arum is acting like Eric & Oscar got nothing to do with this situation is the most f#cked up dynamic in the whole discussion.

And the real killer was a quote posted on this site from Yahoo Sports where HBO said that they look forward to hearing a proposal for Linares next fight and that they have first right of refusal for Linares’ next fight.

I’m sure u can understand that last part. HBO isn’t letting Linares fight Loma period. They aren’t letting him fight off of hbo. They can just match the offer from top rank and then gbp is obligated to give them the fight which won’t work for Top Rank and their exclusive output deal with ESPN

Still...If Beltran says "No Mas" then it would be a impressive win for Loma because even Crawford couldn't stop Beltran.
