ESPN right now is walking bow legged after Arum tore them up.

Promised Pac vs. THE Machine. They get old Pac vs. REALLY old Alavarado.

Promised Loma vs. Linares. They get Loma vs. A tomatoe can.... GOOD JOB Bob!!! You fleeced the heck out of them

Idk what Loma will do personally & I got massive doubts with all these guys at putting their foot down with their promoters being that you can lose a couple years of your career if you do so (Mikey, Ward, Chavez Jr, Algieri, etc & so on). Once you signed the contract I think you flushed a nice amount of your control down the toilet so if you are dealing with a guy who won't bend like Arum doesn't seem to bend you are potentially asking for huge career trajectory issues by drawing a line in the sand.
I believe if Loma and Anatoly both want it, at that moment, they may possibly be very persuasive. But who the eff am I? Ish seems to be possible, especially if Bob kicks the bucket before that date! Lmao!

GBP obviously wants to pair the replay with a live card so they can get some of their prospects more recognition.

All I know is that the live card GBP is going to pair with the replay will be one of the ****tiest cards you'll ever see. With fighters like Ryan Garcia, Rey Vargas, Diego De La Hoya that no one cares about or wants to watch.

Why is it so hard for you shmucks to understand. Arum is offering Linares 1.2 mill, much more money and more high profile fight than any other for Linares. Arum already has msg booked for the 12th and Espn is giving them a huge lead in. Arum will put a Loma fight on that date regardless if its against Linares. If they dont take it its Oscars and Peter Nelsons fault. Oscar is already making his bag of money with the Canelo Ggg ppv so it shouldnt matter to him. Plus they would have to do minimal promoting and would get around 200-250k as their cut. They just want to put on a card of their own to counter program Arum but their screwing over Linares and the fans in the process. Loma will still get big money to fight Beltran regardless

How can anyone possibly blame Arum when hes offering Linares almost 5x his career high payday. If Golden Boy can let Linares fight on Espn any other day they could let him fight on that day too. Its just an excuse from Golden Boy and Peter Nelson. Top Rank is contractually bound to Espn. Golden Boy puts fights on Espn what the F kind of **** is this

I bet it would have those same numbers in the afternoon. People are looking for an excuse to party early. Well, I grew up watching Wide World of Sports on Saturday afternoons. Does Boxing do better numbers on Saturday nights?

True. In general boxing does best when good fights are put on.
