Yeah good luck with that, you're going to need it.
He headlined PPV already it was the crawford/postal disaster that drew only 50K PPV buys. Pacquaio last ppv with vargas did 300K and that's from arum mouth that figure is highly disputed. But lets say that number is true this is a much worse opponent and crawford is not a ppv draw at all. I did not factor in how busy the boxing schedule is in addition to all those fights the writer mentioned Top Rank has a ESPN date on April 28. A whole lot of boxing and a mega PPV on may 5th. I see this fight doing slightly better then GGG/Jacobs and ward/kov which all did under 200K PPV buys.

Maybe if Matthysse subs for Alvarado and add another great match up like Ruiz vs Jennings, then ok.

Isn't this the same writer who says boxing is not dead and way more popular than what critics say?
Now he's saying so and so fighters are not exposed enough to merit PPV route.
        Make up your mind doe.
        Which is it?

It might not be good for fans but it's great for Crawford. With Pacquiao on his undercard, he'll be able to improve from the 50K buyrate he did in his first PPV foray. Then he will hopefully fight Pacquiao on ESPN PPV in the fall. If he can score two spectacular KOs over Horn and Pacquiao in 2018, he'll establish himself as the main player at WW so long as Uncle Al keeps Thurman and Spence away from each other.

Bud will TKO Horn before around 9 and Pac will just totally dominate Alvarado this is a complete mismatch even @ Pac'sAdvanced age... I wouldn't pay to see this fight if it was free...

So this ESPN deal that’s supposed to change the game, meant primarily showcases on ESPN and the bigger stars on PPV.

If Pac were fighting Matthysse I would buy it, for Alvarado no way. This PPV is going to flop unless they can convince Australians to pay more than $50 for it.

Nobody wants to see Pacquiao-Alvarado. pac should fight someone like Matthysse, Lomachenko, or just retire.

Casuals don;t think about match ups like boxingscen member do.

They simply see names, recycled names, and buy the PPV based of that . "PACMAN IS FIGHTing!!" That's all they see.

Guaranteed this PPV will do fine. Plus the guy who beat pac man is fighting crawford, which will intrigue people by itself
