Oh I think it will be entertaining. As far as what this means to boxing afterward, it does not matter at all really.

This fight would have been intriguing to me if Rios didn't only have 1 fight in over two years prior to this. It would have been an even fight in my eyes otherwise. Now I favor Garcia. It could theoretically be fun, but who the **** knows what version of Rios will show up.

Rios has not been a relevant boxer since Tim Bradley stopped him in 2015. This is also only his 2nd fight in the 27 months since that loss. Garcia should have an easy time. For entertainment's sake, I hope he scores a spectacular KO. His stoppages of Khan, Morales, and even Salka were really fun to watch. I want to see that version of Garcia.

I care about this fight about as much as Pac vs Rios, which a lot of people cared about because it would be "action packed". Because people love fights where one fighter has a 90% chance to get absolutely clobbered.

Same for this fight, it's going to be an action packed fight but people don't care about it even though it's the same shopworn Rios who lost to Alvarado and then got the Pac fight.
