      When was Triple Gee’s prime?

If he needed to juice to face such tough competition then it proves why he never moved up...as he claimed to be a “not big Middleweight” yet towered over Hagler, then his natural skills should be questioned, and as Maxi pointed out, look how Russians have been suspect and banned from even olympics... triple Gee fans claimed Jacobs was in the 180lbs on fight night yet the miracle man’s chest was slimmer than Gennady’s, as in they assume as deficit in height proves he must weigh less. Triple Gee was around 174lbs against Jacobs. Jacobs was around 177lbs.

The usual reason for suggesting that an older fighter is a steroid user is that he has the same physique in his mid/late 30s as he had in his 20s ...

GGG's prime was probably around 2013, when Sergio Martinez, Quillin, Ward, etc, all refused to fight him.

thats exactly maxi's point, he said ggg doesnt look the same since he started doing vada, and is true, he hasnt been the same even at weighins, maxi thinks he isnt doing peds anymore therefore now you get a ggg with less muscle and more fat, even a bit slower... vada is when ggg started to age, for many... personally i think its lil more about his competition...

Anyone not doing 365/24/7 testing, if they're at that level, is probably doping.

weird thread. Theres not a huge difference and he is getting older anyway. Pretty sure there were posts pre canelo where people were saying how ripped he is for this one. I wouldnt say hes lost his power either, against jacobs and canelo its not as easy to land them types of shots but they were sure as hell reluctant to come forward. He has slowed down though, but who doesnt as their career progresses?

It's possible, but he was fighting three times a year before and now he's reduced to two and combine that with age = softer looking body
