I agree Eubank didn't fight the best US fighters. I mean, that's a fact. But he still stopped Benn in 1990 and that guy was a horrible beast in the ring.

It was also probably the best fight I've ever seen or at least in the top 5, coincidentally alongside benn vs mcclellan.

Hopefully Jr gets put in with Degale and ends his mediocre career.

Lot of hate for degale on here. Seems to have had a good career from where I'm standing, I don't think that draw to Jack is going to look too bad in hindsight either.

DeGale is a real ****head. Can't wait for his next loss against a decent fighter.

Chris Eubank Sr. would have beaten James DeGale any way of his choosing. Could outbox him, outfight him, beat him on workrate or just knock him out. Chris Eubank Jr. would be a good fight and I think the style is wrong for DeGale. Eubank Jr. would easily outwork him round after round. DeGale should stop being so disrespectful to the dad. He is the sort of fella DeGale who's family must be embarrassed of him and his terrible attempts at trashtalk.

DeGale wouldn't even be relevant if it wasn't for gift decisions he lost to Wilcszewski and Medina who he made look like GGG.
He even got a bs draw vs Jack.
He went absolutely life and death with Hamoudi, Dyah Davis etc
Apart from some journeyman that didn't even try make weight has he ever won a fight convincingly at any level?
Wasn't his title vacant to? Vacant title vs a guy who is mentally weak and fell apart more times than Lada.
He just got absolutely battered by Caleb Truax, he shouldn't be talking.
But then on the flipside Eubank went life and death with Ray Close twice, Malinga, Rocchigiani etc.

Every fight you listed you could argue he lost except Benn 1, Watson 2 and Wharton and other than Benn 1 he looked garbage even when he won.

You ask who did Degale convincingly beat. I pose the same question to you about Eubank.

Don't get me wrong I am no fan of Degale and don't rate him at all but Eubank is massively overrated himself. His resume is not impressive.

I was in attendence for that one in Birmingham. Eubank-Benn 1.

Not Benn-McClellan sadly, wish I was.
