Comments Thread For: Brandon Rios: I Ain't No F***ing Cherry, I'm Coming To Fight

Garcia (33-1, 19 KOs) and Rios (34-3-1, 25 KOs) are looking to get back on top of one of boxing's deepest weight classes, the 147-pound welterweight division. The winner at Mandalay Bay Events Center will be in world-title contention with unified champion Keith Thurman, the holder of the WBC and WBA belts.

Standard guy on the downward trajectory of his career week of the fight hype.

I mean even some guys who say this type of sh^t will be guys who'll prove everyone wrong, but I think Rios is so set in his trajectory off the cliff in boxing that he's a dead man walking vs Danny Garcia. I have trouble envisioning this being competitive. Good luck to the guy. Enjoyed watching him when he was at his best, but I don't think he's been his best in awhile & that sh^t just don't magically comeback.

He is telling the truth, he's not a cherry. He already got his cherry busted by Pacquiao and Bradley

He is just scraps with a lil bit of name value left. Danny's favorite type of opponent, also the type his daddy likes for him. Glad we have not have heard too much of that clown since his son already lost. I wish Rios would pull this off the Garcia clowns would never live it down.

Overrated fighters are always the last to know they are overrated. They live in a constant state of denial. Guy like this probably forces his wife and kids to call him champ.

After he gets beaten he will ask Freddie Roach to train him.

The 21-year-old Benavidez (19-0, 17 KOs) became the youngest reigning world champion in boxing and the youngest 168-pound champion in history at 20 years, 9 months

Uh, Mike Tyson won the WBC HW title at 20 years, 4 months.
