First and foremost brook needs to retire I don't think he can survive a third broken socket!! Secondly somebody in his camp needs to tell him that chocolate brownie phrase is whack and it's never gonna be cool!! I don’t blame him as a human being but as a fighter he’s a b*tch for doing it, he essentially had a swollen eye and he basically took a knee and said I don’t want no more, fighter’s in the past and present have fought on through much worse. He clearly doesn’t have the mental strength to overcome adversity.

He put a very spirited and courageous effort for 11 rounds, until taking that knee and mind you had to cut several pounds in the process just to defend that 147 lbs belt as well; After coming down from a 160 lbs in order to do so.

If his vision was compromised there was no way he could of won that the fight. He could've gotten seriously injured. So what was the point of him continuing with a fractured eye socket and potentially getting that eye put out; Just to prove to boxing fans like you that he's a tough guy?

Denis Lebedev’s eye was much worse vs Guillermo Jones, he never quit. Margarito vs Pacquiao, he never quit. Israel Vasquez’s eye was much worse, he never quit.
Eddie Alvarez and Anthony Pettis have both done it relatively recently in MMA also.
