Never forget round 6, when Groves gave Froch so many right hands he had a stroke in the ring

George was superb in this fight tbh.
Froch's brain must legit be smaller than average because that thing would have been bouncing around like a pinball in most people's heads. I don't really know how he took the beating. That right hand didn't miss.
Froch is a harder than a coffin nail.Comment

I believe any other fighter would have been stopped in that fight. You can see his face drooping around 1:22 and he takes another 5/6 rights that stiffen him, but he somehow fights back....I have never seen anything like it.George was superb in this fight tbh.

I still think if George has about 10-15 seconds more in round 1 he would have him sparked him out cold. Even with Froch's powers of recovery. He was absolutely gone.
But if ifs and buts were candy and nuts.
But when Froch warmed to the task I don't really think its possible to stop him at that weight. Man's terminator. It isn't really like he took anything off the punches either. He was as square as you like and the shots were '**** on the chen'.
Amazing powers of recovery from Froch.
The shellacking Chudinov took was similar to the one except the ref stepped in because eventually Chudinov was basically frozen on the spot getting blasted. That it looked like Groves could be hammering him until they turned the lights off and kicked everyone out.Comment

The thing is it's not like Froch seen those rights coming either, like you say he takes them flush with no defence and a couple while throwing himself, usually they are the ones that KO or KD people, I think any one else they would have.I still think if George has about 10-15 seconds more in round 1 he would have him sparked him out cold. With Chudinov it was slightly different, he had a high guard up the whole time but Groves hooks round the side and bludgeons him to get the stoppage, the ref sees he was rocked and is about to get battered so saves him....not clean at all but obvious power to rock someone off balance with a hook round the guard...... any way I still don't know how Froch survived that, you can see his brain malfunctioning but he still fights back and takes more hits...... any one else and you are saying that fight takes years off their career and miles on the clock.... good thing that was the end of his career.Comment

Froch, along with all the Eubank Jr fans, doesn't sound very sure all of a sudden.
Before he was saying he couldn't see any way how Groves can win.
I'd love it if Groves knocks him cold. ****ing hype job **** house.Comment

Some idiot Eubank Jr fan on here a couple of days ago was trying to argue that Froch wasn't badly hurt, and it was a 'flash knockdown'
