We'll see what happens but 'm betting Pac is going to stand firm and insist on Matthysse at a later date.Comment

I say not much because he lacks leverage. He is not the one putting meat in the seats; Manny Pacquiao is.Comment

No, I don't think the card is worth $10m; I'm just doing the math.
Crawford's manager, if he's worth anything, isn't going to let Crawford be shorted on a fight. Jeff Horn had a public offer for $2m to fight in Australia, and walking away from that to be shorted on a fight in the US would make Horn's manager a fool. Lastly, Manny Pacquiao has been on sizable guaranteed money for years (the one time he was convinced to forgo his guarantee, he ended up owning a show that was a dud).
In terms of where the money comes from, 250k PPV buys gets you to $6m into the pot, and the last time that Pacquiao was on the marquee in Las Vegas, he was still able to draw a $7m live gate; a $5m gate isn't impossible.
If Pacquiao can no longer draw even 250k PPV homes, or clear $5m at the gate, Arum loses his ass on this fight anyway
I don't think the card is PPV worthy. Also, not sure Pac can draw that many, either, fighting Alvarado or Mattysse. If he was fighting Crawford, it'd be different.
Good luck to all on this card.Comment
