    Chris Eubank Jr. has claimed that George Groves is jealous of him and has vowed to send him into retirement as they build up to their showdown this weekend. The once-defeated next generation fighter, from Brighton, sat alongside the WBA Super world champion on Wednesday in Manchester at the final press conference for the World Boxing Super Series semi-final.

      It's a figure of speech. Basically, he's saying that george groves wants to retire from this fight and 'sail off into the sunset'. So chris eubankjr is going to help him do that by retiring him - so he earns enough money from this fight to buy his 'boat" and retire - so he can sail off.

          I was watching the public workouts yesterday. They both look razor sharp and I still can't pick a winner. But I've been remembering how Groves boxed at long range the whole 12 rounds to outpoint James DeGale when they were both young prospects, and wondering if he's going to try and do that against Jr.

          All the smack George has been talking about winning by KO and Eubank not being able to take his power could be a smokescreen to cover up a different game plan all together.

          It's such a fascinating fight. Can't wait to see it!

            i don't get it. Saint George is the prototypical pasty faced northern european why would he want to be anything else certainly not a grubbie prol like junior eubanks and his daddy !

              yeah ive not looked forward to a fight this much for quite a while. i think groves is gonna aim to box and move but he'll have a few rocky moments. i hope and think he'll pull it off
