"Can't mentally check out when it is not going your way". This coming from a guy who was looking for a way out against Tim Bradley. All I remember from that fight is "it burn, he burn..." Two of the same if u ask me.

Alexander wins this one, Ortiz is shot to bits.

I missed the old Victor Ortiz. He was a hard hitting, action packed, crowd pleasing fighter back in the day with lots of promise.

What happened to his heart we will never know? All I know is that since his fight with Maidana, he thought it was cool to quit whenever he faced adversity in the ring.

I know subsequently he had a fight of the year victory over Berto in which they both traded several knockdowns in the process. However psychologically, I believe the war with Marcos permanently scarred and broke him.

No, Bradley was head butting him all night. Technically he was fouled and subsequently; According to the rule book after 4 rounds have been completed and the fight is halted to due to a accidental head butt it goes to the scorecards.

Alexander sucks but it's difficult to make any case for Ortiz beating a half decent fighter. Alexander should beat him.

Both of these guys are no longer relevant at the top level, but Alexander should still be the clear favourite in my eyes. Ortiz comes off as a broken man.
