why you morons keep on bringing GGG age? yes he is gonna be 36 by the time they fight, but lets remember one thing, GGG turned pro when he was 27 or 28, so he is a young 35 year old. Canelo started at the age of 15, so practically has more millage than GGG.

Great points by Paulie he really knows his stuff. But I believe at 36 GGG might not have enough to go 12 rounds while Canelo is on his bike and this could be a close decision win for gingernuts. Perfect matchmaking by GB.

                Pop quiz???

Average age of ggg and average age of boxers he fought as a pro?

                Same question for Canelo?

Add up each fights ages then divide by fights for both.. Easy.

You have to build your body up to fight long term you can't start at 27 and last as long as someone who has done it there whole life and built there body for it.

Dude, the human body doesn't change.

You reach your physical peak in the mid to late 20s and are in decline by your early-mid 30s.

I couldn't start boxing right now at 37 years old and be a "young 37" just because I've never had a fight.

I'm a dude nearing 40 and there's no amount of training that's gonna make up for that.

Yeah, mileage matters, but so does "Father Time" and he's undefeated.

The fact remains that Golovkin threw & landed more punches, controlled the ring more as Canelo spent most of his time against the ropes and was more aggressive.

Roll on Cinco de Mayo, looking forward to a war as I feel GGG will not show as much respect this time around!
Body shot, you stated it perfectly, in my opinion! Nice
