I believe GGG did win the first fight. I would have to say canelo has the edge in fight 2 because his youth. Canelos team said it the best they believe GGG has peaked which he is getting older. If it's even close canelo shouldn't get the W just because of that. He should still be building of of his experience. So we should see his new form and hopefully more. Should be a good fightComment

Great points by Paulie he really knows his stuff. But I believe at 36 GGG might not have enough to go 12 rounds while Canelo is on his bike and this could be a close decision win for gingernuts. Perfect matchmaking by GB.Comment

Pop quiz???
Average age of ggg and average age of boxers he fought as a pro?
Same question for Canelo?
Add up each fights ages then divide by fights for both.. Easy.Comment

You have to build your body up to fight long term you can't start at 27 and last as long as someone who has done it there whole life and built there body for it.Comment

You reach your physical peak in the mid to late 20s and are in decline by your early-mid 30s.
I couldn't start boxing right now at 37 years old and be a "young 37" just because I've never had a fight.
I'm a dude nearing 40 and there's no amount of training that's gonna make up for that.
Yeah, mileage matters, but so does "Father Time" and he's undefeated.Comment

It's almost as if you go 12 rounds with GGG you should automatically get the win. Canelo lost the fight, he did the classic technique of fighting for the final 30 seconds of each round to try and catch the judges eyes and steal the round.
The fact remains that Golovkin threw & landed more punches, controlled the ring more as Canelo spent most of his time against the ropes and was more aggressive.
Roll on Cinco de Mayo, looking forward to a war as I feel GGG will not show as much respect this time around!Comment
