Arum is, along with Haymon and Gomez the top three promotional snakes and charlatans at the moment. Looking to drag out negotiations, short fuse negotiations, all so they can protect their cash cow from losing and finally putting them on a banal mediocre PPV card simply for their fighter to demolish another garbage collector and keep calling out other champs, repeating the tired rhetoric of 'wanting to fight the best', wanting to clean out the division, etc etc...yawn.

The few boxers/fighters who are truly invested in what they say are GGG, AJ, Parker, Kovalev, Bivol, Barerra, Spence Jr, Thurman, Mikey Garcia, Berchelt, Rungvisai and Inoue. PS: I could be wrong about these fighters, and of course they are influenced by many things outside their sphere of influence or control.
There are grey areas of course and some fighters, probably most have at least one or two boogeymen on their list.
We need some new headlines, new stories and new narratives to follow, because if I swear I hear one more paper champion announce he's here to clean out the division I will have a brain fart.
Ive been watching more amd more overseas fights then ever before just for these reasons. The ******s are hard to find sometimes but the fights are super good. I liked the Doticos fight, bellow, davies. And quite a few others.

I just want good fights! Dont care 1 bit about promotor or network.

I like fighters from every network and promotor.

Out of all the promotors Bob Arum is my least favorite and the most CORRUPT one currently by far. But he still has fighters ill root for.

Boxing will be soo much better with Arum retired one way or another

Watch whatever you enjoy. Most people, if they're a fan of a fighter, enjoy watching that fighter dominate lesser opponents. That's what this sport was built on.

Enjoy whatever you enjoy. Good for you. Sincerely.
Even fighters i like i dont care to watch them dominate another fighter in a glorified sparring match. I get no value from it. And it tells me. Nothing watching them hit a human punching bag.

Ill bet you points right now it wont be Linares on May 12th. Unless on HBO.

You're in the minority. Doesn't mean you're wrong. Just understand why those fights exist.

Ohh I know and Im not hating. And majority of ppl do like a brutal bloodbath even if 1 sided. Its just not my cup if tea. Again its part of the buisness and keeping in shape. They need those rounds one way or another.

Late May or June? Terrible idea. That want to ruin Loma's entire year. May 12th or maybe May 19th the latest it should happen. Otherwise, I still see no issue with April 28th. Only 14 days before May 12th. Linares tiny cut from last fight does not need 3 months to heal. He can rest another two weeks, a month rest after his fight, then get in an 8 week camp for April 28th. What's the problem? These ****ing promoters are constantly nitpicking every little thing. fighters who fight 4 times a year like GGG has done fight every 3 months all the time. 1 month rest, 8 week camp. Easy. What's the ****ing problem? It's a joke. They are treating this like it's a rocket launch. Most boxers don't spar the first few weeks of camp anyway, so Linares would have 6-7 weeks off without even sparring. And when you do spar, you can spar with headgear that protects the face. So what is the problem?

They think the cut won't heal in 12 weeks, but it will in 14 weeks? Makes no ****ing sense. THIS is why boxing is still broken, among many other reasons.

GBP's deal with HBO would be in danger! Add to that, GBP/HBO is expecting Garcia vs. Linares this summer. What if Linares lost to Loma? HBO would lose twice! No Garcia and No Lomachenko!
How does Garcia knocking out Linares out HBO then going back to Haymon help HBO in any way?

This is just Bob Arum trying to *** with HBO. GB is NOT going to screw themselves to please Bob.

This is a NO BRAINER!!! Date has to be before May 5th or after May 12th. Its that simple....So expect Rat Fink to *** up a good fight and give us junk.
Who cares about the peak? Give us the average you biased fanboy. Loma-Rigo AVERAGED almost 2 million, which is exactly why Arum isn't bothered about the GGG-Canelo replay. Loma-Linares is still going to get 2 million or maybe a lot more with the NBA Playoffs lead in. You don't know what you're talking about otherwise you wouldn't have needed me to tell you that, so stop posting out if ignorance, and start researching more before posting anymore crap.
