It’s a good fight, I would pay to watch it.

Not a blockbuster, but on par with when Floyd fought maidana

Good fight but the only issue I have is that they’re both in my top 5 favorite fighters & it’ll suck to see one of them have to lose at this point. A loss for either one is really bad at this point. 2 losses in a row for Pacquiao would be the official end for him at his age even though he beat Horn it’s still counted as an official loss & Matthysse needs to keep winning at this point otherwise he loses all his momentum at 147 even though he didn’t look good in his last fight. He showed he still has his elite power though which is good.

I’ve touched this stove once too many. Now I’m totally convinced that Pacquiao is fighting Alvarado.

No way they would schedule Pacquiao/Matthysee in May anyway because of GGG/Canelo 2.

“I see he has talked about fighting Matthysse,” Arum said, “but that’s not gonna happen.”

I've been a Pacquaio fan but Freddie has a knack for trying to get him to be aggressive and this is an opponent that he has to fight smart against if the fight gets made. I'm not saying it's going to happen but there are good odds it can happen if Pacquaio gets sloppy.

Pacquiao had been a counter puncher in the last 5 years since the KO though which is very smart. Though he might stop Mathysse if he could give out the same punishment he give against Horn.

I'm not disagreeing and the Matthysse eye is a thing of concern but what I am trying to say is if Matthysse catches him clean which he can if Pacquaio falls asleep at the wheel he's going to be in a world of trouble.

Yeah but it seems we are getting the Alvarado fight then Lomchenko at 140 in the fall. I might actually think Pacquiao will get his first stoppage in years if he fights Alvarado.

I can see that sequence but this version of Pacquaio is a cause of concern for me everytime he steps out into the ring now. I'm going through the same wave of emotions like I did when Roy got old and he didn't have it in him..shhh was painful to watch during the transition.
