strange anecdote of carlos monzon and a penguin
susana gimenez is a famous actress down here, carlos and her made a movie together and began dating during the shooting of it.

she told this story like ten years ago but i just found about it today. in 2 days it'll be the 30 anniversary of monzon's murder of his wife and there are a lot articles about it since right now there is a strong feminist movement here.
gimenez says that one day, they were both walking down the beach when they spotted a group of penguins walking around. she said to carlos how beautiful they were and that she'd love to pet one. following act, carlos picked up a big rock and threw it at one of them, smashing it's head. he then picked up the animal and took it back to her with smile on his face "as if he was giving her a diamond ring from Tiffany's". "didn't you wanna touch one of them?" he asked at her horrofied face.
